The opening party will be held at RheinEnergieStadion with expected representation from 49 nationalities. The Gay Games run from July 31 to August 7 and feature 35 sports and 5 cultural events. Swimming, soccer, and volleyball are by far the most popular sports. As Pepe Garcia Vazquez, male Co-President of EGLSF explains: </span></font></p> <p><font size="4"><span style="">“Many of our member clubs have expressed a desire for a return to a single quadrennial global LGBT sport event.
